How We Make Our T20 Blast Predictions
Our match predictions are based on team form, head-to-head history, squad strength, and home-ground advantage. No prediction in cricket is ever guaranteed — T20 in particular is a format built for upsets — but we aim to give you an informed, free read on each fixture ahead of the toss.
T20 Blast 2026 Groups & Format
Generally, the Vitality Blast used to have 2 groups: South & North. Each group used to have 9 teams. However, in the 2026 edition, there will be 3 groups: North, Central, and South. Each group will have 6 teams.

Every team will play 12 games in the group stage. 5 Home games vs group opponents, 5 Away games vs group opponents, 1 Home game against a group-outside opponent, and 1 Away game against a group-outside opponent. Then, 8 teams will qualify for the quarterfinals. Semifinals and the Final will take place on the very same day (The Final’s Day).
