Who’s favored to win the La Liga?
The Spanish League is a race of 3 horses. In the past decade, only 3 different teams have won this competition. Those 3 teams are yet again the favorites to win the Spanish league for the 2025-26 campaign.
The most successful side, Real Madrid, tops our favorites list. Los Blancos are the clear favorites for the 25-26 season. Their archrival and the defending champions, FC Barcelona, come next, close behind. The only other team in serious title contention is Atletico Madrid, the last side to be Spanish league champions outside Barca and Real.

We don’t see the league going outside the top 3 yet again. It will once again be the race of those 3 horses. Other sides may make a good start but would lose pace midway through the season. But who will win the La Liga 25/26? Real Madrid or FC Barcelona? Both sides have balanced squads and tactical managers. But we are backing up Hansi Flick’s side to win the league. We suspect Xabi Alonso would require time to win the Spanish top-flight. So, our prediction is that FC Barcelona will win the La Liga 2025-26.
